When you register for and use Whaping AI, we collect only the information necessary to provide, manage, and optimize our WhatsApp AI automation platform:

• Account & Registration Information: Your business name, owner name, email address, phone number, and billing preferences submitted during pre-registration or onboarding.
• WhatsApp Multi-Device Pairing Data: Technical pairing session identifiers generated during your 5-second QR code scan (linked devices protocol). We do not access your personal WhatsApp password or private contacts.
• Business Knowledge Base Materials: Product catalogs, price sheets, FAQs, and PDF documents uploaded to train your custom bot's grounded knowledge base.
• Customer Conversation Logs: Inbound inquiries and AI-generated replies handled on your WhatsApp line to enable human takeover in your live CRM dashboard and analytics reporting.
• Third-Party Skill Metadata: Authentication tokens and configuration parameters required to connect integrations you explicitly enable (e.g., Google Calendar, Shopify, Shiprocket, Stripe).

2 How We Use Your Data

Your data is used strictly for the following operational purposes:

• Delivering autonomous 24/7 product selling, sizing advice, and customer support via your paired WhatsApp number.
• Grounded AI inference using dedicated Whaping Bot enterprise neural engines to answer queries with 99.8% precision without hallucinations.
• Automating appointment scheduling, inventory sync, and order dispatch notifications through authorized skills.
• Generating real-time business analytics (e.g., cart recovery rate, message volume, lead counts).
• Verifying subscription status and processing payments via PCI-DSS certified payment processors (Stripe/Razorpay).

3 AI Architecture & Zero Model Training

Whaping operates on enterprise-isolated AI inference infrastructure:

• Zero Model Training: Your business data, catalog files, and customer conversations are processed ephemeral-first and are strictly never used to train, fine-tune, or retrain any public or foundational LLM.
• Grounded Context: Customer queries are resolved solely using the specific business knowledge base files you upload, preventing unauthorized external data leakage.

4 Data Security & Encryption Standards

We maintain multi-layered security safeguards to protect your business information:

• In-Transit Protection: All API requests, webhook payloads, and dashboard sessions are secured using TLS 1.3 encryption.
• At-Rest Protection: Knowledge bases, tokens, and database records are encrypted with military-grade AES-256 encryption.
• Payment Security: Credit card, debit card, and UPI details are processed directly by certified payment gateways (Stripe, Razorpay). Whaping never stores complete card numbers or CVV codes.

5 Compliance (DPDP Act India & GDPR)

Whaping complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 (India) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

• Right to Access: You can export all uploaded knowledge base files and customer interaction logs at any time.
• Right to Erasure (Forget Me): When you disconnect your device or terminate your account, you can request immediate, permanent deletion of all stored customer logs and vector embeddings.
• Data Minimization: We retain customer conversation transcripts only as long as your account remains active or until you instruct deletion.

6 Third-Party Service Providers

We work only with vetted, enterprise-tier infrastructure providers:

• Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure: For private containerized neural model inference powering Whaping Bot with zero third-party data retention.
• Cloudflare Inc.: For DDoS protection, edge caching, and SSL termination.
• Meta / WhatsApp: Communication flows conform to Meta platform policies. Whaping is an independent automation tool and is not officially affiliated with Meta Platforms Inc.
